Low stress strategies for highly successful educators! This class will help find solutions that work right now to create low stress classrooms, help end student arguing and back talk, guide students to own and solve their problems, and build positive relationships with challenging students.

All courses will be taught through the Schoology platform. There will be no regularly scheduled face to face or online meetings.  Participants will be able to implement their own pacing to complete the weekly agenda for the six week course. Learners will be introduced to general principles of online instruction. Basic features of the Schoology LMS will be introduced and practiced, including course navigation and setup, tools, resources, assignment grading and content facilitation.

Learners will be introduced to tools and resources for facilitating best practices in online teaching. Instruction includes incorporating open source tools and resources, building interactive content, and utilizing instructional tools and extensions.

Intended Audience:Instructors who are proficient in using Schoology and want to learn more about open education resources, building interactive content for use in their online classrooms.

This course provides educators with an in-depth understanding of dyslexia as a neurobiological condition and equips them with evidence-based strategies for supporting dyslexic learners in literacy development. Drawing upon the principles outlined in the Idaho Dyslexia Handbook and the Idaho Comprehensive Literacy Plan, participants will explore the foundational concepts of literacy instruction and learn how to implement structured literacy practices tailored to meet the diverse needs of dyslexic students.
